HISTORY

The objectives embodied at its foundation are today equally - or more - important as they were at the time. Therefore, we continue to faithfully and commitedly satisfy the high standards and professionalism of our clients and associates, selling and promoting the wines and the Dao region in every marketplace in which we operate, respecting and preserving the social and physical environment, and sharing our success with our colleagues, associates and all the bodies with whom we have dealings.

PREMISES

UNIAO DAS ADEGAS COOPERATIVAS DO DAO - UDACA has the modern and functional premises covering an area of 20,000 m2.

There is a tasting room, a wine museum, a lecture hall, a laboratory equipped with the latest technology and a warehouse with stainless steel vats with a capacity for storing 6 million litres of wine.

There are three bottling lines, each capable of handling 6,000 bottles/hour and an underground cellar always kept at a temperature of 18o, where the wines are matured and aged in bottles or in barrels of French, Russian or American oak.
